General

No. Everything in this documentation is point-and-click. The only two technical steps are (a) pasting a script tag if you install the web widget yourself, and (b) adding DNS records if you use Keloa as your email sender. Both have step-by-step guides.
The UI ships in English and Dutch. The AI can understand and reply in any language — it auto-detects from the customer’s message. English, Dutch, German and French work best today.
In the EU. Application data, knowledge vectors, and attachments live in EU data centres. See Data & privacy for the details.
Yes — each brand gets its own workspace. One Keloa account can belong to many workspaces. Agencies do this all the time. Scale plan offers consolidated billing across workspaces.

AI agent

Your agent is instructed to answer only from the knowledge you provide and the conversation itself. If it doesn’t find an answer, it says so and hands off — unless your system prompt tells it otherwise. See System prompt.
Yes. Open any conversation and click Sources in the context drawer — you’ll see which knowledge passages and which tool calls shaped the reply.
Yes, three ways: (1) flip the agent’s status to paused, (2) manually reply as a teammate — the AI steps back automatically, (3) use a flow with a Handoff node for specific conditions.
No. It uses the current conversation plus your knowledge base. Past conversations don’t get added to the knowledge base automatically — if you want to seed from them, export and paste the best answers as Q&A pairs.

Channels

Yes. Each number is a separate channel in Keloa, with its own default AI agent. Subject to your plan’s channel cap.
No. The loader is under 6 KB and loads async. The full widget is lazy-loaded on first interaction. It won’t affect Core Web Vitals.
Yes — email is optional. Plenty of workspaces run only webchat + WhatsApp, for example.

Billing

Yes — Starter is free forever. 100 AI replies/month, 1 channel, 1 seat. Upgrade any time.
On Starter and Growth, the AI stops replying until the next cycle — human teammates can still respond and flows still work. On Business and Scale there’s a 7-day grace where AI keeps running and overage is billed. See Usage & credits.
Monthly plans are card + iDEAL + SEPA direct debit. Yearly plans on Business+ can be paid by bank invoice — email sales@keloa.cx.

Security and privacy

No. Every LLM we use is called with zero-retention flags set. Your prompts and completions are not used for any model training.
Yes. Our template DPA is available at keloa.cx/legal/dpa — sign and email back, or request a countersign.
Settings → Data & privacy → Delete contact. Erases contact, conversations, messages, attachments. Irreversible.
